Rebel
Train is a southern influenced aggressive rock band.Built on grass
roots and straight forward rock and roll, this band brings energy,
emotion, and conviction to the stage with an intensity that commands
attention.
Rebel Train originated when Steve Kyle, singer and guitarist, moved
back home to St.Louis,MO after a 3 year stay in Memphis,TN where
he found his heart and soul as a musician and songwriter.Steve first
met up with former bandmate Bob Taylor on drums, then Nathan Floyd
on bass and Barry Hollander, also on guitar. All members have performed
in local and regional bands, making Rebel Train an eclectic and
seasond group.
Rebel Train's southern flavor combined with "in your face"
performaces make live shows an unique blend that is both exciting
to watch and fun to hear.
Combining their favorite cover songs with original material including
songs from the debut CD release "Laying Tracks" Rebel
Train has been playing clubs regionally throughout the midwest.
In short, Rebel Train is:southern, grass roots, rock and roll, all
wraped up into a ball and thrown into the nineties with a kick in
the ass
